Formed in 2003, Safedigging Surveys started life as Samson Utility Mapping Services Ltd. Our technical director, Jeff Parslow, left Radiodetection after 18 years to help set up the company with Directors of Samson Resins, Steve and Martin. They had years of experience working for local councils throughout the UK, applying anti-skid surfacing to the highway network for traffic calming and road safety. After a successful five years from 2003, having built relationships with many of the country’s leading construction and design companies, it was decided in 2008 to rebrand with a name change to Safedigging Ltd.
The company focused on delivering a quality service to ensure our clients had the very best Utility Survey information to avoid danger and stay safe from initial enquiry to project completion with handover and beyond. Safedigging soon became full members of TSA (The Survey Association), which also helped with training, quality procedures, and professionalism.
