Safedigging work closely with developers, civil engineers, groundworkers and piling contractors to ensure the intended scheme is accurately established on site and in full accordance with the design drawings.

Using the latest Trimble Survey equipment Safedigging Surveyors can accurately set out, position and mark specific areas or points on the ground. This can be to a local or national grid, essential for use in new developments and infrastructure within the construction Industry.

Using ground pegs, pins or by spraying the ground, onsite positions can be marked within a few millimetres from data taken from drawings, plans or provided beforehand.

Safedigging have vast experience in setting out boundaries, new buildings, roads and many other features to client requirements, ensuring all structures and features are precisely positioned to meet correct design and specification

A complete setting-out service of all points right across the development can also be delivered in an efficient and timely manner.

On larger projects, we generally work from dwg/CAD models produced by an architect or a designer.

Setting out data is exported directly onto total stations or GPS rovers, eliminating the potential for error from human input.
